These photographs are taken as I wandered from show to show and to various rides at Universal Studios, on April 17, 1999.

These photographs were taken at the Nickelodeon show, at a time when two parents have been put into carts and dressed up as hamburgers. The contest is to see who can support ketchup, tomato, lettuce and special sauce on the parents' heads to make a complete hamburger. Very silly, but lots of fun!

At the Waterworld show, various people dressed up like pirates cause mischief. This guy was using any hidden water pump to squirt people who walked by.

This is the set of the Waterworld show, before it has started.

The Western show in action.

The grand finale of the Western show, after the building has fallen flat because it was dynamited.

Beetlejuice's Rockin' Review, which was great fun (Sadly, I liked it more than the much acclaimed play "Rent"), People in Frankenstein and Dracula outfits run around playing famous rock songs while things blow up around them.

The day I visited Universal Studios it was quite hot, about 90 degrees Fahrenheit. I was very glad that the Jurassic Park ride was open, because you get splashed with cold water throughout (which is very refreshing!). The first picture on the left is of the entrance to the ride, while the picture on the right is of the boat you ride in crashing down into water and making a huge splash (yes, you to get soaked!). Luckily, I never had to wait more than three or four minutes to get on the ride, so I took it four times (whenever I got too warm!).
