This started out as a simple enough exercise: write a program which reads the clipboard and dials the number.

Of course, the world of telephones isn't that simple, so soon I was adding features for international dialing, calling cards, WATS lines, use in other countries, and writing a 50 page manual to go with it!

Most phone dialers make you put all the numbers you want dial into their database: this program assumes you already have the numbers elsewhere: Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, whatever, and does the job of dialing the phone for you. In your application, you highlight the phone number, press a toolbar icon, and poof! your phone magically dials the number! The phone dialer comes with built-in support for Notes, Ami Pro and Microsoft Word, and includes directions for using it in other programs.

This program was popular with Lotus Notes database developers/resellers, who want to bundle the phone dialing program in with their application (such as a Notes contact management database)

Eventually, telephony started getting more complex, and people wanted integration between the phone dialer and the Telephone Switch, with Microsoft's TAPI, etc. We decided to leave the world of telephone integration to companies who specialize in this sort of thing.

My company no longer sells individual licenses to this software: if you want to purchase it you need to purchase a corporate site license, which is $10,000. Also, we are no longer developing or supporting it.
