These photographs are taken as I entered Universal Studios on April 17, 1999 and walked on the initial main level.

On the way to Universal Studios, you have to walk down a mini Mall called Universal City, which is lined with all sorts of shops. This is a photograph of one of the streets down Universal City. Note the giant electric guitar in the distance.

Southern California seems fascinated by fountains. The water moved from left to right.

A picture of the famous Universal Studios rotating sign.

Towering above the center of Universal City is this giant octet truss, that would make Buckminster Fuller proud (he is the inventor of the octet truss).
The following pictures are taken inside the Universal Studios park.

This is a small-scale boat, which was used in the second Jurassic Park movie.

This is a view of Los Angeles from the Universal Studios center. Immediately below is the Universal Studios filming lot, followed by a golf course. Note the brown haze which is smaller covering the valley. I was glad that Universal Studios is high up on a hill, where the air is much more fresh.

This is a hanging re-creation of Jaws, with a fellow tourist sticking their head up the jaw.

Yet another sign for Universal Studios, with yet more children standing in front of it having their picture taken. Behind the sign is a playful parking garage.
